One of her best songs! On a trip to London I was pleasantly surprised to see her CDs in the shops. I promptly picked up the reissue of Feelin' Bitchy. | |

All of her 70's and early 80's albums were orginally issued on CD courtesy of a U.K. company back in the 90's. And then there were a handful of other U.K reissues which included bonus tracks a few years ago. Not much of her catalog has been reissued domestically in the United States. I love Millie Jackson.She's so nasty and outrageous! The "spoken" segments of her songs are sometimes the best part of the song! This one is a good example.Also,you have to hear the spoken part of "All The Way Lover"!!! My lord!! | |

I remember liking the Barbara Mandrell version. My mom had the Luther Ingram one on 45. I really liked the b- side Puttin' Game Down. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
