Justin Timberlake does country--and it aint bad.

Timberbeak was at the CMA's with new artist Chris Stapleton, who does a very soulful kind of country, so it fit to have them both sing two of his big songs:

When Justin was a child, he was on the original Star Search doing country, which was his true genre before doing boy band dance-pop and hip-hop/r&b.

I agree 100%. Im not a country fan but I put Chris Stapleton on my Spotify playlist after hearing it. Sounds more bluesy than country. Tennesee Whiskey actually sounds a lot like the type of blues Prince typically plays. The exact same drum beat Prince uses on his blues tracks.
