On...several weeks ago I heard about this sho on HBO called the Leftovers. It's a very strange show and concept which I inadvertently got hooked into. I binge-watched the first season. Awesome! But the into son was unremarkable. I can't recall it for nothing. Then the second season started. This little country ditty had me hooked instantly. It was so chirpy and cheery and bright. I looved it. I assumed it was a new song and didn't really look into it as I could keep hearing it with ever episode I watched. Then I caught up on episodes. Well to hear it again I looked it up and found out it was an older song from '92 by a lady named Iris DeMent. Let The Mystery Be is the name of said ditty I've been 'suffering' in silence for several weeks now...but I gotta shout it. I LIVE THIS SONG! Very rarely do I come across a country song I live...and this is definitely one of them. Last one I crushed on was Girl Crush. So flippin sexy.

It seems strangely agnostic for a country song...but anyways...I love it...and it just about captures my sentiments on the subject

I *ABSOLUTELY* ***LOVE*** The Leftovers and this used as the new theme song combined with the opening credits are great... the fact it opens a show that is so serious and dire and just plain f*cked up in the head is genius, imo.
