I hear y'all. God help us if this is the shape of things to come.

I'm so pissed about the constant heat, that i had to post two videos.

The day drags by like a wounded animal
The approaching disease, 92 degrees
The blood in our veins and the brains in our head
The approaching unease, 92 degrees

Long ago in the headlines, they noticed it too
But too late for the loved ones and nearly for you...

Shaky lines -- on the horizon
Snaky thoughts -- invade each person
Watch the red line -- creeping upwards
Watch the sanity line weaken
The volcanic depths of Hades' ocean
Bubble under, these crazed eruptions
It wriggles and writhes and bites within
Just below the sweating skin

I wondered when this would happen again
Now I watch the red line, reach that number again
The blood in our veins and the brains in our head...

Drink the water with jagged glass
Eat the cactus with bleeding mouth
Not 91 or 93, but 92 Fahrenheit degrees

Shaky lines -- on the horizon
Snaky thoughts -- invade each person
Not 91 or 93, but 92 Fahrenheit degrees

By day we're dormant
Because it's too hot outside now
Nocturnal notions
As we leave or cocoons

Antennae tuned to inhuman vibrations
Shaping the cities of the world to come

I listen to the sound
The endless construction
Inside the termite mound

I walked past the nursery
All the children have gone now
The rules we taught them
Are what they've become

Move past the people
They make me feel so indifferent
Serving their purpose
It's their purpose to serve

A thousand lights
From this honeycombed labyrinth
These winding tunnels
Lead to my place of desire

Bars and bazaars of self-gratification
Live to consume, live for momentary pleasures

I listen to the sound
The endless construction
Inside the termite mound

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

People forget or don't realize that INXS were one of the first bands experimenting and releasing remix ep's. though duran duran may have been in clubs, INXS was actually charting dance club stuff, mixes and a remix ep long before the remix ep became a "trend" around the Paula Abdul days.
