David Bowie touring thoughts

http://www.davidbowie.com/news

Why do storys like this come out, cant the artist ever go say on good morning america or something and tell their thoughts themselves? Why is it always second hand you hear it from. If the man goes on tv n tells it then ill buy it but this way ehh f that im never sold completely. I just read something (again second hand) awhile back that he said he wasnt done making music which could mean anything ..

“He has decided to retire, you can’t demand these people go out there again and again and again'

The man is 15 months away from 70. After what have to be millions of miles playing thousands of shows for somewhere over a half-century, the legend has earned his rest.

I think when he said he wasn't done making music, he would make more albums.

He certainly doesn't need the money so I don't see why he might not want to continue touring. Plus maybe he doesn't like to look back and if toured, people would expect to hear his older stuff.

But I think it would be nice if he could do a couple of shows maybe in NYC or London so that wouldn't require too much travel, but I guess he's not interested.

I think when he said he wasn't done making music, he meant he would make more albums, not that he was planning on touring. That's what I meant. I apologize if it was unclear to you.

What does he wanna do? he can do anything he wants to musically. Work with anyone,I'd buy nursery rhymes from him for crissake. Bring back Tin Machine that was cool music. 70 uh hmm. Pff retire .. no no say it isnt so. Woody Woodmanseys doing stuff grab him n a few buddy's n kick around ideas.

I have never seen David Bowie live..

I would love to in an intimate theater.....

But that seems very unlikely damn.

Dude securitized his future royalties. I think he got $55,000,000 for that. Awesome move.
