Anti Semite who thinks she doesn't have to pay taxes because the rules don't apply to her. Oh, and she sound checks for people paying to see her while she is starting the show. Late. And the material is wack. And she's wack. And she used to be the coolest. She's the worst.

I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I'm interested to hear what the album theme will be. Most of her output since 'Unplugged' till today was about social subjects. It would be interesting to hear music that reflects on her life.

There are other BETTER artists than Hill. She threw in the towel aeons ago. It'll be interesting 2 see who even cares anymore about her "artistry." Her public image has been in utter declination over the past 18 yrs, so it'll be interesting to see how successful this "comeback" will be where the world of R&B/Hip Hop has undergone so many vast changes in the past almost-quarter century. Even Sade's album sales have dwindled due 2 excessively long absences from the public eye. Her future success will be interesting 2 measure, that is, if anything product presents anytime soon. :-O

Sade's last album did 1.3 million by 2011.

If Lauryn can recapture the magic like Janet is doing my suspicions is that all will be forgiven. But it'll be strictly from left field if it succeeds. At this point absolutely no one is checking for Lauryn. If she's lucky it'll be a critical smash and have "Black Messiah" size success.

None of them have made an album that has had the same impact as Miseducation and Frank Ocean is way overrated. Edit: Erykah and Janelle do have classics although imo those albums did not make the same groundbreaking impact as Miseducation. Maybe D Angelo's Brown Sugar has...

Gary Hunt is a sports diver and not a musician. Further proving my point that you orgers are full of shit lol you claim you've ''heard all those artists'' yet some of them aren't even real. I knew y'all don't actually listen to the artists or the albums! You just automaticaly say an artists albums better cause you like staying comfertable. And don't like to expand your horizons biggrin

How is that Gary Hunt album soulalive? lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

Did she save her money?

Lauryn's networth is $2-Million..The Marley Family owns a reputable & profitable Coffee farm. I guess Lauryn did not hire Good attorneys that knew how to get her an everlasting cup of coffee from the family Biz...

lowkey

lauryn has made herself a not very likable person, so i dont know how people will embrace her. There are lots of assholes in the industry but im not sure you can get away with being an asshole with just one hit album. while i love 'miseducation' and think its an amazing album i think there were other amazing albums made during and after. Badu's early stuff is as good.if she does ever put out new music i will give it a try and if its good i'll support it, but she cant continue the same bullshit she's been pulling in recent years.

Hip hop has changed SO MUCH since the mid nineteen nineties when she was an emcee blossoming from The Fugees. There's just no way she can make an album with the same kind of genre-straddling impact.

I say take hip hop right back to the mid-90s. Somebody needs to.

It's slowly happening anyways, lauryn would be icing on the cake and shut it down

It just looks like Lauryn never learns.

Wow. None?

Look, Miseducation is a classic. It's got signature singles, legit hip-hop tracks ("Lost Ones") and well-written ballads ("Ex-Factor" and "Nothing Even Matters"). But the album isn't exactly peerless.

I'd put Mama's Gun and Voodoo, both released a couple of years after, against Miseducation any day. There's been a lot of content out there, acclaimed and otherwise, that matches Miseducation.

People tried to dog D Angelo and write him off but when he got his stuff together, he made a great come back. I think we need to start rooting for our great artists. Its not a whole lot of them especially in this generation of crappy music. Its unfornate that some of them have had personal issues that have stopped them from making music but if there trying to get back into the swing, I am all for supporting it! We need artists that will keep real music alive! Go Laurn!

Yes! Thank you. I truly believe that she's going to come up with something phenomenal.

I actually like the song she did for Conspiracy Theory best. Lauryn is just okay
to me. I've never been mesmerized by her music. I felt like the Fugees were one of the most overrated groups of that time. I actually liked Wyclef's Carnival album better. Lauryn turns me off with that Yo Yo Yo chant she does before songs.
I'm feel like Erykah Badu is a more interesting artist and diverse artist who still puts on a good show. Her debut,Mama's Gun,and Worldwide Underground are must haves. Have you heard Van Hunt's first two albums? Seconds of Pleasure,Down Here in Hell, and Hello Goodbye from his debut trumps anything Lauryn has done. It's just my take. There are no right or wrong answers here. It's just our tastes.
