The Music Industry is finished

done, toast, finished, caput, trashed out

it's all over

there's no legitimate argument that can suggest music is better today than generations before...no way

Say what you want about Miley(and I know there's plenty to say) she does tend to have a good point now and then in between her antics.

Like not wanting to be a part of the Taylor Squad.

“I’m not trying to be in the squad,” Miley told the New York Times, point blank. “None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives. Because I’m inspired by them.”

The music industry has survived worst than a terrible song from a terrible artist in the past.

no, the industry will not be finished as long as CLUELESS parents keep payin' for the "music" their CLUELESS kids (mostly 12-16) want to legally download

and as for the video, it irritates me, so much that I only managed 20 secs; I'm still waiting for Billy Ray to slap some sense into her, hard...

Can't get this song outta my head lol. Reminds me of Beck. Kooky lyrics and almost awful vocals, but it's out there and fun music.

For all time I am with you, you are with me.

I'm beginning to like Miley.I like her spunky,I-don't-give-a-fuck attitude.I also like the fact that she's pissing off all those naive parents who allowed their young daughters to watch that 'Hannah Montana' show...lol....I think all of this is hilarious.

Pop music is boring. It needs someone to shake things up and cause a commotion.Miley is doing that right now.

I'm disturbed by how much the second half of that song sounds like several songs on HITNRUN. That's not good.

Miley isn't the first to "shake things up" in the past few years

The pop music scene is still boring nevertheless.

The pop scene is currently boring because for whatever reason the industry just wants to market a select few of pop stars. Oddly, they want the public limited to only 4-5 pop stars that make the same repetitive generic output and performances. I just will never understand it. There is more than a enough talent if certain artists were given a platform to reach more people. This is not the best "of the best" of today's talent.

the industry part- maybe. Plenty of gret musicians to go around.
You're just listening in the wrong places if this is what you are finding.

And the funniest thing is that there are more dislikes than likes and there's no comment section lol I guess there was too much negative comments
