A few from The City(with Carole King), and Carole King(solo).

The City was a band that was co-founded by Carole King(with her future husband, Charles larkey). It featured drummer James Gordon(Derek And The Dominoes) and Guitarist Danny Kortchmar. They released one album(in 1968).

The album wasn't a hit but some of its songs ended up being covered by other artists. And Carole herself. She re-recorded a couple of them for her solo albums.

As far as Carole King the artist? IMO, she's a great composer, great piano player, has a great sense of melody, and makes music from the heart. She somewhat reminds me of a more AM Radio/pop, Todd Rundgren.

On her album Pearls, Carole re-recorded Snow Queen. I like this version a little better, though.

Snow Queen(1968).

I Don't Believe It(1968).

You've Been Around Too Long(1973)

I Wasn't Gonna Fall In Love(2001)

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
