Yeah it's gonna leak any moment now, streams instantly become leaks it seems. the new Prince leaked as Tidal put it up to stream. Still don't get the idea of streaming the whole album, loyals will always buy your stuff, so if that is the case just release the thing, and cut out all leak chances.

They moved the USA date up early on it was the 18th, and the rest of the world was the 11th. In one interview the reporter said it was moved up because of demand, which would be nice but it was not true. It was moved up because artsts are trying to get away from the "different" dates because of downloads.

I think demand is a new polite way of saying leaks neutral lol ain't no one calling radio or record stores clamoring for a new DD album. And I love the Durans.

Kinda liked the first song but then it just gets worse. Makes me realize that it must be just kinda hard to be 56 years old (Simon Lebon, Prince, Madonna, etc.) and make pop music.

Paper Gods if possibly one of their best songs, reminding me of the gem "The Man who stole a leopard" Duran lately has had these types of songs. I have heard about half the record, like most of what I heard, i know people were freaking over Janelle Monae and Nile Rodgers, but to me Pressure Off of the songs i have heard is the weakest track.

Or maybe people are just ageist and have a problem with older people making pop music.

Danceophobia kind of brings a smile. Even Lindsay Lohan's part sounds cute.

Only In Dreams is a funky little jam.

Butterfly Girl is tight.

I don't think you're supposed to but sometimes I feel like you can hear when songwriters deliberately go for a less predictable chord progression, not because it sounds better, but because it sounds different. I couldn't help but feel that when listening to chorus of Change The Skyline the first time.

It seems like they mostly want you to dance with this record, and I'm not mad at that. I can see myself getting into a handful of these songs.

My only gripe is that songs get bogged down in "hip" sounds like "What Are The Chances"... its a great ballad but it has that dumb "playing card in a spoke" turning wheel sound thats all the rage these days.

Sunset Garage is my favorite but it's difficult for me to sing/say garage the way Simon does.

Sunset Garage is the jam!! Reminds me of the groove from Serious, just not so... serious. lol I love the 60s/Motown-esque flourishes.

Only In Dreams and The Universe Alone are my songs right now. The bonus tracks are really strong. I really like Northern Lights, Cinderella Ride, and Evil Beach is growing on me. I can't wait to see them in Berkeley on Friday. Is anyone else going to that show?

IMO, All You Need Is Now was a stronger album than Paper Gods.

I agree with you, but for some reason Paper Gods has had a lot more commercial success, i guess because it's on a major label.

Thanks! It was such a fun, great show. I saw a little bit of Clean Bandit and I was pleasantly surprised, they were good. Chic really got the crowd pumped and dancing. Duran Duran were reallly good and they performed lots of their hits including Come Undone and four new songs from their release. They opened with the title track.

I like Cinderella Ride alot too. These tracks add to the album. I hope they do some collaborations and remixes, Danceaphobia is so catchy.
