Dam Funk's previous stuff has often been a bit too "ambient" for my liking, a bit too laid back to really take the funk mantle from P-Funk and the other cats he's influenced by, but I've really enjoyed what I've heard of this so far, looking forward to purchasing it. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...
