Mainly he is 52, losing his hair, turning grey, and getting heavier. Looks normal to me, but of course everyone expects more from someone who was a sex symbol in his early 20s.

Might have to put him on my deathlist for next year. He's over 50 so sadly I'll get less points.

Andrew keeps in shape though, surfing and playing tennis.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

^Yeah Andrew retired and said screw the stress, I'm rich!"

George in true Cancer fashion became conflicted and moody, blunting the pain with recreational sex and drugs.

I'll always like George Michael but he's a textbook case of wasted potential.

It's quite upsetting to see him like this. He had an amazing voice (and can still work it pretty well), georgous looks and such a likable persona.

From what I've heard his relationship with pot is rather extreme.

actually im not so sure he can work it so well anymore have you heard his narration for the symphonica documentary?

I'm feeling a bit fammy™

I never thought i'd see George Michael fat. It's not just the fact that he was a ''sex symbol'' George was in good shape well into his 40's despite his drug use.

Here's a 2009 'article' about how old Andrew looks in comparison to George:

Can the world's most expensive rehab clinic help George Michael? Friends fear for star after he shuts himself away

  • Pop star George Michael is reported to be in Swiss 'rehab' for cannabis addiction
  • George has hardly been spotted in public since spring 2014
  • He didn't even show at the wedding of close pal Geri Halliwell last month
  • The no-shows have led to speculation that he's back on the drugs that have plagued him throughout his glittering career

Most people don't get addicted to cannabis/marijuana and they don't go to rehab clinics for smoking weed.

Does he drink or use some type of harder drug like cocaine also?

there are thousands of people in britain who are addicted to cannabis but they don't make the news

like george, its sad to see that so many people are burying their heads in the sand when it comes to

the overwhelming evidence about the problems associated with dope, also sad to see so many well-

known 'celebrities' jumping on the bandwagon trying to be trendy by saying it should be legal.david

cameron has just been elected for another 5 years so he needs to sort out britains drink/drugs epidemic.

Doesn't George Michael use other drugs too? I thought he was arrested for possessing cocaine or crack or something.

Also, all the times he feel asleep driving. I don't think that was caused by cannabis. More likely some type of sleeping pills or painkiller which are actually the most addictive drugs around.

I don't think people who think it should be legal are trying to be trendy. There are really good arguments for it being legal. A lot of people do use it without a lot of negative effects and it's not right that they could get something on their record which would prevent them from getting a job forever in the future.

Clearly making drugs illegal does not prevent people from using them. And any drug there will be people who abuse them. Doesn't mean alcohol and all sleeping pills should be illegal either.

George Michael openly admitted that he used to smoke crack and that he used all kinds of other drugs. He said so during an interview for the Guardian a couple of years ago. I think it´s naive of people to blame it all on cannabis, which may be his favorite but definitely not his most dangerous drug of choice.

Remember around Christmas 2011 when he had pneumonia? I kinda thought that was his wake-up call. I hope he can get healthy but I wonder if songwriting is cathartic for him at all, or if he really enjoys singing, even to himself.

From what I´ve read and heard, he does. But it seems he does not like what comes with it.

Have you watched the documentary that came out like a decade ago? A Different Story?

It´s an interesting and very enjoyable documentary. I wish Prince would do something like that.

I think he looks Ok for a guy his age and maybe enjoying the wining and dining a bit. Not everyone goes crazy in the gym trying to pretend to be eternally young. I find Prince's wardrobe choices and antics with his looks far more embarassing than George looking like a guy in his fifties trying to enjoy the best in life.

He is denying reports it's all about crack cocaine, but here are further reports:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/s...USIVE.html

GEORGE Michael has secretly been in rehab for a year battling an addiction to lethal crack cocaine.

And today his cousin’s wife Jackie Georgiou reveals how the singer, 52, was a bewildered, drug-addled wreck when he checked into a Swiss clinic.

Jackie Georgiou, wife of George’s cousin Andros, said his family feared he was killing himself with crack, cocaine, alcohol and marijuana before he finally agreed to their pleas to undergo rehab last summer.

And she said of George, who is still being treated by the £190,000-a-month Kusnacht Practice a year later: “He was smoking crack. Before he went away he got to the point where he would be shaking, saying ‘I need it’.
