Any Slowdive fans out there?

I just got back into them thanks to Pitchfork's documentary about their second album. Last year when I was a freshman in college, Souvlaki was my go to album. Is anyone else a fan of the band and does anyone have any recommendations for other shoegaze acts like them? I'm pretty curious to find some contempory acts that have picked up on the band's sound. It's a damn shame I haven't been able to catch them on tour both times they've been in my area.

And for those not into the band, heres one of my favorites off Souvlaki.

Souvlaki is the only Slowdive album I have. Have you heard of Ride?

I was very much into shoegaze myself when it first became popular in the early 90s, but more so the female-fronted bands like Lush. Here is a playlist I made a few years ago of female-fronted shoegaze/dreampop bands from the 90s: http://8tracks.com/sexton.../girlswirl

As for modern shoegaze bands, the first one that to comes to mind is Tamaryn, her first two albums at least. I've seen her live a few times. She's great:
