"On Bended Knee" vs. "Sweet November"

I've noticed these two hit slow jams sound very similar and coincidentally are probably my favorites of the genre. It's interesting that one was written by Babyface in the Deele while the other by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, which were the biggest R&B songwriters/producers of the time. Which song do you prefer?

This is the Troop version which was a bigger hit, though the original is likely better and I'm more familiar with it

My vote goes to The Deele's original version of Sweet November. And don't sheep on Troop's cover version neither.
