Stream Pete Rock's latest "Petestrumentals 2"

This has my ears on fire. I love Pete's style even after all these years, the funky chunky rhythms and fun samples make my ears happy. music One track heavily samples "Wishing On A Star".

This release does not appear to be via UK's venerable BBE, instead released via Mello Music Group, an independent label based in Arizona.

Thanks! Too bad I can't hear it here at work. Doesn't play. I'll have to be patient and check it out later. Pete Rock is my dude though. I'm sure its dope.

I will buy his music as long as he keeps creating. He never had a corny era.

OMG! I just noticed Pete stole the idea for the album title from one of our favorite orgers!

Alas, it was his PeteStrumentals release that inspired my title. I always liked the idea of beat albums since 45 King had 45 Kingdom, but I wanted a more recent reference.

thumbs up!

of course I have it, my taste is outstanding biggrin lol

I don't have "Bed Tracks" though, cause it was not available in physical format, and I'm too old, conservative and stubborn to go digital
