Technically, "Someday Is Tonight" and "Any Time, Any Place" aren't closing tracks on their respective albums. "In Complete Darkness/Living In A World (Reprise)" was the closing track on Rhythm Nation 1814, and janet. had a hidden track calld "Whoops".

i forgot about whoops now, i dont consider 'in complete darkness' a song 'someday is tonight' is the last actual song on RN. i can add 'cant be stopped' from VR.

There might be outros on these albums but I don't think anyone has named a song that came before a final song on the album. "Whoops Now" tough call. lol

Whoops Now is only on the CD version, not the cassette or record. You can't really have a hidden track on a record, unless it is not separated from a listed song.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

What if a song is listed but is exclusive to a certain version, like Leave Me Alone by Michael Jackson or extra tracks that sometimes appear on Japanese versions of an album. The vinyl of Faith by George Michael does not have the remixes at the end, but they are on the cassette & CD. There's also the USA versions of Beatles albums, some which do not exist anywhere else like Hey Jude or A Hard Day's Night having George Martin instrumentals on it.

Then no. You know gosh darn well those bonus tracks are not part of the official main sequence.

Most likely not, but since the 1990's when artists started adding remixes, hidden tracks, and lately doing deluxe editions of albums with additional tracks, it's hard to tell the proper end of an album these days. confuse

Michael Jackson - Threatened

Threatened is a very quirky and clever song featuring a pieced-together vocal "rap" from Rod Serling of The Twilight Zone fame. It's the last song on Invincible and is a criminally underrated/overlooked MJ song.

"This could be the end of a particularly terrifying nightmare. It isn't. It's the beginning, beginning beginning, beginning, beginning!"

It's a song she wrote about her struggle growing up bi-racial. I recommend anyone to just listen to it. I've teared up listening to it. It's very powerful. sad

It is a very good track. Funny that it randomly came on my ipod. Chilling. She usually does well with last songs too!

Twister

Fly Like A Bird

Love Takes Time

The Wind

Being some of her best work and have personal touch. People look over her non-single tracks sometime.

That being said...

Positivity - Prince

Lady in My Life - MJ

Act of Contrition - Madonna

Funny How Time Flies When You're Having Fun - Janet

Celebration - Kanye West

Contact - Daft Punk

Maryann - New Edition

The Bird - The Time

Back 2 The Lotus - Prince

It's your World - Common

If You Want It To Be Good Get Yourself A Bad Boy - Backstreet Boys

Paisley what up?

The first that came to mind when I saw this thread is, Fly like a bird. What a power house of a song.I would also have to include Dead by Christmas by Hanoi Rocks and Crown of thorns by Mother Love Bone.

I'm probably the only person here who has listened to Wynonna Judd albums. razz Country does not seem to be that popular on this site. That Was Yesterday is kinda bluesy though.

If "Strong Enough" was supposed to be the last song, then it would be listed on the cover and appear on all versions. Otherwise you guys would be talking about some shit that was only the last track in Japan.

But it wasn't a track released only on Japan releases. I brought mine at a store in Florida. Hell even Tyler Perry spoke about loving this song.
