People feeling Shamir?

Housey, colorful, androgynous, falsetto...and with puppets. I love it.

I think Shamir is a big talent, authentic and courageous as hell. He deserves to make it big.

You can get stuff on i-Tunes but I'm waiting for the CD.

Yes! I'm loving MNEK too. So happy that people are rembracing/updating classic soulful house.

This is a great one too - I really like that first EP too. I think he has even more range than we know.

I love the 90s house music aspect to his jamz. Same with MNEK.

Shamir is actually a friend of the family and my step-son's roommate. He's a good kid and has no real influences. He was singing around the house and I told him that he needed to listen to some TTD. Totally has the voice for it. I give him credit for working so hard and following his own muse. Very nice kid and interesting to see him at the start of what I hope he can turn into a career. He has a billboard up in Times Square and yet him and my step son have a small two bedroom apt in Las Vegas.

Pretty sure he's going to have a big year! Most everyone I've played him for loves him.

He's got an acoustic guitar strummin' ballad side to him and he's also a comedian.

He starts his act by saying I'm a 20 year old black man with the voice of a 14 year old white girl but it's cool.
