Any fans here? He's not a household name but he's on some notable hits particularly "How Long" by 70's one hit wonder Ace, "Tempted" by Squeeze, and multiple hits with Mike and the Mechanics being "Silent Running" and "Living Years" among others. He also had solo hits with "Don't Shed a Tear" being his biggest.

He's one of my favorite artists because of his very soulful voice and workmanlike body of work. He has continued making a bunch of what are described as soul-pop albums the last twenty years and though the hits have dried up I think the material sounds great. Provided you know who he is, are any one you guys fans and/or what do you think of this singer.
