ha at mini tour, DC and NYC dates does not make this a tour. Is she still on probation?

Mini-tour, indeed. To answer your question, her supervised probation period officially ended this past October.

Like I said not a tour more like spot dates, since she is staying local. DC is four hours away from NJ where she lives.

AHAHAHAHAHAH lol 100-175 to have her be 2-4 hours late. And i loved the lyrics on her unplugged album. But she played the same three chords for two hours eek i hope she's learned to play more than three chords by now.

I like her band but all they do is re-work her songs and turn them into 7 minute reggae jams. I guess if you like that then you might like her show. I would rather see her do her first record well. Now some of her best songs are hard to recognize. Don't believe me then look up one of her recent shows on youtube. She's still got her voice though. Shame she went and had eighty kids.

The jam band is tight but I doubt she will be full on with the squad. I am actually hoping on an Unplugged-style show possibly without any sort of accompaniment, some of those 2.0 songs ("WATER" and "MR INTENTIONAL" especially), and some stripped down Fugee/Miseducation. I hope to be jamming into the wee hours of 2/26 lol. Plus it'll be a trip to visit the legendary Blue Note in the Village, I walk past it frequently. Tables are already sold out.

ON THE REAL though, the people I know that saw her, she wasn't late, and they said the show was spell-binding. I have yet to see her, so I have no place to complain or dis.

She came to Chicago 18 months - give or take- ago. Didn't hit the stage 'bout close to midnight, then got an attitude when her fans booed and hiss.... lol

I think her audiences would understand if she was like "bathroom break" late, or "let me finish up this smoke" late, but she is hours late. That's not tolerated from any act: new/old, white/black, female/male, but she seems to think she is under appreciated as an artist (or artists in general? are not appreciated for their performances).

I can't stand when artists are late. As cinnny said... bathroom break or smoke break late sure. 30-45 minutes and i'll even give a pass. Prince is known for being an asshole with time. When i saw at The Forum in 2011 he was 45 minutes late. But put on a 3 and a half hour show! with like 3 or 4 encores. So all was forgiven.

I have two buddies who saw Lauryn live. Said she was an hour and a half late. Her voice was cracking and she only played for an hour! lol

Played for an hour? That's all?! In such a case, rioting is justified. lol
