I actually liked Katy Perry's Super Bowl Halftime show. Like hell I did  Thing is, the tiger is one low ass gimmick, fans seem to ignore the fact that ninjas were grabbing the tigger's giant ass legs in front of hundreds of people! The whole set is mainly over produced, that Dark Horse thing looked like a cheap PS2 video game, not to mention the cheesy fluffy sharky ball-thingy background that was clearly made for 12 year old kids. Overall, I still appreciate that Katy got innovative by mashing up Pokemon and Cheetos into her dress. It's certainly the worst Super Bowl show after BEPs and Madonnas (Woulda been THE worst if it wasn't for Missy's professional appearence... Lenny was probably suggested by Bruno.. NFL had to consider that..) I still can't figure out why people like this over Bruno's Halftime show? Now that was all about music, real instruments and live vocals. | |

I agree and expressed major concerns to my crew about child-baiting and pandering with the obvious Illuminati imagery. If I was an 8 year old I would've been asking my parents to buy Perry's product. We also blamed Madonna (!) not really for inspiring dreck, more for "making it look easy to be a one man/woman show". Its not that Madonna is/was not inspiring, its just that now kids are impersonating 2nd rate Madonna impersonators. | |
