Irving Azoff, is not Pharrell's lawyer. Irving Azoff is a music industry heavyweight that owns that licensing company Global Music Rights. He the management team of some of your favs.

Google have claimed that they actually do have the rights to the songs. Which they likely do via Google Music.

To say "Happy" only generated $2,700 for 43 million plays sounds harsh. However it likely only got that many plays. Since it was available free on YouTube. Take away that and suddenly your song may not be so popular. It's still on the radio, and MTV etc... So thats not lost income caused by Youtube.
