I wonder how much of the album is even recorded. Be cool if she released it as a full instantaneous leak but in some other weird Badu way. I hope this lights a fire under her ass (and it's a nice one).

What does everyone think, would Erykah do well to put out an album within 6 months of the Black Messiah hype? Co headline tour?

If and when she releases albums is her prerogative, that said, if another artist releasing work is what she needs to get on with releasing another album, so be it.

The Soulquarians are not really a unit anymore, and keep in mind Erykah released a lot of material since Voodoo (the same year she released Mama's Gun).

Ive enjoyed pretty much all of Erykah's CD's. I don't feel she has anything to prove to anyone. She always brings it as far as Im concerned. I know some people don't like her more "out there" tracks but I love 'em.
