photo jodeci.jpg

R&B bad boys K-Ci, JoJo, DeVante, Mr. Dalvin & R. Kelly are set to hit the road for their upcoming “Real Kings of R&B” tour. Who’s excited? More inside….

All you throwback R&B fans….get excited! Looks like an upcoming tour is in the works including some of R&B’s notorious “bad boys”.

Following the lip-sync”ful” reunion performance at the 2014 Soul Train Music Awards, Jodeci will be reuniting once again for a brand new tour with R. Kelly. It’s said the guys are calling this the “Real Kings of R&B” tour.

You’ll recall, Jodeci premiered a brand new track “Nobody Wins” featuring B.o.B. during their set at the awards show. And after almost two decades since the release of their last album, we hear Jodeci is currently working on a comeback album, featuring production from superproducer Timbaland. Sounds like the perfect makings of an upcoming tour.

Although none of the guys have confirmed the upcoming tour, V-103 radio host Big Tigger took to Twitter to make the announcement. He tweeted:

No other details have been released as of yet.

Let’s just hope DeVante decides to get rid of that side pony! Not sure we can handle it. Will you be copping tix? I will definitely e checking it out! Also that new album. it will come FULL circle. Since Devante' discovered Tim & Missy(hope she writes for it also)

Why such a lame, lazy name for the tour? So corny. Happy for Jodeci though. Kells will be on point since he's been performing frequently. I hope those boys from North Carolina are up for the rigorous job of touring.

This has bad business decision written all over it. I predict that the Jodeci reunion will implode at the midpoint.

nod I love Jodeci and all but they can't even sing live at an awards show together. Now a tour? If this information is legit then it would be surprising if all four show up at the first concert date.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

R. Kelly is too talented for these shit tours he puts on. A little rap/hip-hop to spice his act up is okay, but he needs to drop his shit hype crew and get an actual band, and do an actual music tour. Does he know that lots of guys actually enjoy his music too? It's bad when you feel just as out of place at an R. Kelly show as you would at a One Direction concert.

He's got tons of great material and he can legitimately write, sing and even play instruments. So why such terrible live shows?

I actually like R Kelly's karaoke set up! He has the voice to pull it off.

He definitely has the voice when he just sings live, but dude is getting up there and has yet to do a proper tour in my opinion. He's got a lot of great compositions of different styles, he can play the piano, and he has so many hits of those different styles it's ridiculous. Why not an acoustic version of Elsewhere, which would be infinitely more interesting than hearing him perform a shortened, mostly playback version of Bump Bump Bump?

I don't have a Problem with the Title of the tour because if Kelly is on the ticket then you can call it "Kings of R&B"..(I do have my own issues with Kelly's publicized issues but he's Still the King of R&B).....If Jodeci can't sing LIVE then this tour will flop cuz Fans will rush to Twitter & Face book and tell the World Jodeci is Lip-syncing on stage.....It's one thing to sing to a pre-recorded "track" with no band on stage but no one wants to see you Lip syncing an entire set...

Kelly does have the "chops" to pull off a Karaoke set but the ONLY reason he's saving money on NOT having a Band is becuz he thinks the Women just wanna see him walk up & down the stage. "These people don't care about a Live Band, they will throw their Thongs at me every time I take off my Gucci Shades, I'm not paying a Band to Tour with me."...I promise you that's his attitude....

It is bad karma to knowingly put money in R Kelly's pocket since you know it will be used to lure and abuse children.

I feel it's for financial reasons why he does'nt have a band most of the time. R Kelly lost MILLIONS trying keep himself out of jail. It cost a lot money to keep a band on payroll. Ask prince

I wouldn't even consider going to any of their concerts again
