this is like a Christmas present to the Madonna fans lol yes, these are demos and some of these tracks won't make the final tracklist, but it's still exciting to hear this stuff

I agree! All the songs are so good. They are definitely more mature acoustic/ballad leaning things which I guess is what more fans want. I love them all, but I do think the final track listing could use maybe a few more uptempo dance things.

I must have outgrown Madonna. I got excited when I saw his had leaked earlier this morning. After I downloaded, I think I listned to the first track in its entirety. Then skimmed through the rest of them. I didn't hear anything that made me want to stop and listen. I didn't hear anything that made look forward to hearing the completed version. I'm not even sure I'll muster the interest to sit down and listen to these all the way through.

This is unheard of for me. sad

Askani I am so sorry to hear you arent feeling the demos! Its neat that she isn't just going for robohumping this time around. Illuminati is the best thing she's been on in 20 plus years. The lyrics are pure insanity, the music is fun. To me that song has the girl we all knew. Its interesting to hear her sing about being hurt, abandoned and what not as she was once the hunter. Living For Love, with MNEK in the demo... breathtaking.

Illuminati? really...it's my least favourite of the bunch, specially because of the lyrics (that Britney's-Work-Bitch-kinda-rapping doesn't help either). Sayin' that I like most of the other tracks.

It’s not JayZ and Beyoncé
It’s not Nicki or lil Wayne
It’s not Oprah and Obama, the Pope and Rihanna
Queen Elizabeth or Kanye

It's not pentagrams or witchcraft
It's not triangles or stacks of cash
Black magic or Gaga
Gucci or Prada
Riding on a golden cat

The all Seeing Eye is watching tonight
That’s what it is truth and the light
Nothing to hide secrets inside
It’s like everybody in the spot is shining like illuminati

It’s the enlightenment that started it all
The founding fathers wrote it down on the wall
And now the Medias misleading us all
Into right into wrong
It’s time to dance and turn this dark into something
So let the fire burn this music is bumping
We’re going to live the rebel / love Never dies
It starts tonight

Rihanna don’t know the new world order
It’s not platinum encrypted corners
It’s not ISIS or the phoenix
Pyramids of Egypt don’t make it into something sordid
It’s not Steve Jobs or Bill Gates
It’s not the google or United States
It’s not Bieber or Le Bron
Clinton or Obama
Or anyone you love to hate

You know that everything that glitters aint gold
So let the music take you out of control
It’s time to feel it in your body and soul (c’mon lets go)
Were going to dance until /and turn the dark into something
So let the fire burn this music is bumping
Liberate our love never dies

.

I was laughing my ass off during this song. It was hilarious!!! She is clearly having a lot of fun, not "normal". Blatantly joking with this Gwen Stefani "Unapologetic Bitch". Its fun, but clearly nonsense. She talks about sniffing glue on one song. I understand people do that but alot of these tracks have some sort of comical thing going on.

Looks like the YouTube links are gone.Surprise,surprise.

I'm really impressed with the songwriting on these songs, and the fact that so many of these tracks are ballads with 'serious' thoughts and messages."Heartbreak City" is excellent! I think this is gonna be an outstanding album.

I really think she should release a 2-CD set....one album focusing on the serious songs and the second disc reserved for the fun, danceable stuff.

It all sounded very robotic and reptetive to me. Also, I hate her vocal training and the lack of reverb on her voice. Evita ruined her for pop music. She used to be such a great pop torch singer/vocal stylist. Everything is so sterile, dry and over-enunciated any more.

Keep in mind that these leaked songs are only demos and half of 'em won't end up on the album anyway.

I like the vulnerability of Joan of Arc, Illuminati is over the top and fun, I also like Heartbreak City--would like to hear it with more fleshed out instrumentation--and Living For Love. Rebel Heart needs to be sped up a little with more of a beat behind it (first impression only)--it drags a little for me. I like the social message of Borrowed Time--would prefer a more stripped down sound on this one--like she starts with. Don't care for Bitch I'm Madonna...and didn't Madonna already do an Addicted song better than this? lol Messiah is too...schmaltzy?...for me; I would lose it. Make The Devil Pray didn't convince me of its country ways. smile But I just love Revolution! She's really hitting the right mark with this one--could build an album around it perhaps. Unapologetic Bitch has potential but needs work on the mix, especially that annoying fart sound. razz lol Wash All Over sounds more like a Ray of Light refugee than other songs on this album--I'd like to hear the finished product--like the sweeping strings t the beginning and the way it builds.I'll dance to it at the end. smile Glad I got a chance to hear the demos for this first response.

thumbs up! I really like "Make The Devil Pray"...great lyrics/theme!

"Living For Love" is a good song, but it needs to be polished a bit.Especially if it's gonna be the lead single (as has been rumored).I think the vocals should be re-recorded,and the production needs a little more bells and whistles...the choir needs to be more up in the mix.I love the lyrics.

"Addicted/The One That Got Away" is decent,but I don't know....needs a little more work.

"Illuminati" is a fun track.I have a feeling that it won't make the album, though.

As for "Heartbreak City"...I agree,it needs a little more instrumentation...maybe some lush strings? GREAT song, though. She sounds really bitter about her last relationship.

"Unapologetic Bitch" is great lol It's fun and catchy. The chorus stays in my head.

Not too crazy about "Revolution".

"Wash All Over Me",I liked it immediately when it leaked a few weeks ago.

"Bitch,I'm Madonna" is a throwaway. Not too crazy about that one.

"Borrowed Time" and "Joan Of Ark" are ok.I like the fact that she recorded so many ballads this time.I have a feeling that only a few of these will make the album, though.
