The Manhattans Appreciation Thread

In honor of the recent passing of Edward "Sonny" Bivins and Winfred "Blue" Lovett (who just passed today), I want to do an appreciation thread on the legendary Manhattans. So come post pics, vids, etc. on anything Manhattans.

The Manhattans were a GREAT group! I've seen them in concert a few times.Very classy group of gentlemen.I need to pick up a copy of their 1980 album 'After Midnight'.That one's my favorite.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Well thanx to Vainandy I discovered their music 2 years ago and what a delight! That "Kiss and say goodbye" song... Wow! Pure emotion
No one mentioned them in the "best R&B male groups" thread though sad
