J.C. Davis: A New Day

J.C. Davis, was James Brown's first band leader in 1958 after he had a hit with "Try Me" and could finally afford a backing back. Before then, he and the otgher Famous Flames (and Fats Gonder) would alternate between instruments.

After leavin Brown around 1962, he played for the likes of Jackie Wilson and Etta James.

Here is a 1969 single released by him called "A New Day." JB also had a single called "A New DAY."
