Can't see it, because it says you have to be a member.

Can you cut and paste it here?

Usher was damn near a Bad Boy artist on his first album, and So So Def owned his second album. I wonder at what point they had a professional relationship that could have been good via Jermaine Dupri, then ruined. Sounds suspect!

I'm very interested in this statement from Jimmy Jam. Could someone post the article or whatever it is? HAPPYPERSON, could you provide us the link?

If this is true, seems like Jimmy has been quite talkative lately. Must be getting closer to his and Terry's solo project wink

well they did work on confessions and the album prior to confessions, jd started getting reaqlly cocky after confessions and mariah's album.then usher didnt work with him on his next albums but he did work with jimmy and terry.every other producer who worked with janet around that time pretty much said jd fucked up.jimmy never seemed to be too fond of jd,i think his arrogance rubs people the wrong way.

I know but that album before the mega-smash Confessions was the third album 8701. By then, Jermaine Dupri was already Usher's "gatekeeper", if you will (even though Usher was really on LaFace).

Was just about to say that actually. He was a Jermaine & Puffy boy for a long time. Diddy was even in the U Don't Have To Call video.

I did forget Jimmy Jam & Lewis co-produed U Remind Me though.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. I hated how JD just came in and highjacked Janet's 20Y.O album. And I know Jimmy and Terry had to feel some kinda way about it too.

yup, and the producer kwame said jd basically disregarded the other producers work and put most of his own tracks on the album.he also took over her sessions with jam and lewis. i think there was some bad blood during that time because for awhile janet or jimmy wouldnt really talk about each other. when her and jd split i think her and jimmy rekindled their relationship, jimmy said they was recording when mj died.

Jermaine walked like a troll, and he talked like one, and he was one LOL I remember how he was not giving her space during the Rockwitchu tour in her dressing room and she was telling him off.

Discipline was underrated, but he was really irritating and giving her really bad advice.
