I doubt very seriously if most people buy music based on whether or not they like the artist(s) as a person. Other than what they or the media tells us, we know absolutely nothing about most of them. If I purchased music based on an artist's glowing personality, I would only own like 5 CDs.

The report says Mariah is mad he takes "every" job which keeps him away from his family, when they don't really need the money.

She was also embarrassed about him talking about sex.

These seem like very reconcilable differences.

Oh sheesh. Don't tell me that this is what's going to be heading the news in coming weeks. Urgh. The last thing I want to hear about are these two mudslinging in the press regarding their separation/divorce. When marrying someone much younger there's always the chance that they'll wander off when grativy starts to set in, not to mention the effects of immaturity.

I think Mimi like most stars would be a nightmare to deal with. Nobody says no to Mimi!

As for father Cannon speaking-this could be done by Nick to go around the gag order.

Nick Cannon is concerned about Mariah's mental state

If you’re still nursing a broken heart about the Nick and Mariah break up, Nick Cannon wants to inform you that he’s the one choosing to leave the relationship and it’s for the best.

TMZ reports that Cannon is the one who decided to end the marriage mostly because he believes that Mariah’s mental state isn’t healthy for their family. Sources close to the family revealed to the site Cannon believes “the environment around Mariah is toxic and fears for his kids.”

He’s said to describe their living situation as chaotic and believes Mariah’s primary concern is makingmoney. Apparently, he’s already witnessed signs of emotional upset in their children: Twins, Moroccan and Monroe, which the public has come to know affectionately by their nickname, “Dem Babies”.

The couple has been living separately and despite rumors of Nick’s infidelity he maintains his main focus is his children.

No one likes to see the break up of a family, but the industry has made Mariah’s diva-like ways no secret and I would hate to believe she displays that same kind of attitude at home. We hope this family gets the help and support they need.

I've been so caught up with the crap in Ferguson, MO and that ISIS stuff in Iraq that I missed the big news under my nose. I've got some mixed feelings about this, because I love this woman so much yet Nick seems like a nice guy, even if he is a bit corny. Having said that, they have an 11 year age difference, and I'm sure this probably has something to do with their marital strife. She's probably pissed off at him not spending more time at home with the family, yet he's trying to get his own career blowing up. Nick's been having success with his radio show, his DJ gigs, and his hosting spot on America's Got Talent, but Mariah's career has hit a pothole, with her much delayed album tanking after some bad lead-off singles and her disastrous stint on American Idol. I wouldn't be surprised if Mariah got extremely jealous of Nick and actually drove him away. It's really sad, though, because they have such young children.

As for Nick having more jobs than a Jamaican...do you remember this skit on In Living Color?
