Norma Jean (Everybody Dance), Luci (Rebels Are We), and Alfa (I Want Your Love) were the lead singers of CHIC.

Nile has been talking about releasing a "new" Chic album. It would be so cool if these ladies could be involved with that project.

Based on his past actions, Nile doesn't seem even remotely interested in working with Alfa, Luci and Norma Jean on projects, but there's still hope.

Well it's two things: first of all Alfa and Luci got fired from the dwindling Chic Organisaton in 1983 by means of a letter (!) saying: your services are no longer required. They still haven't gotten over that.

And then in 04/05 Luci and Norma started to promote themselves as "First Ladies of Chic" and getting regular gigs. Nile didn't like that as he felt he was the only one entitled to use the Chic name and sued them. They weren't lying either, they WERE the first ladies of Chic and therefore in my opinion are entitled to call themselves that, more so than the non-descript and definitely un-chic singers Nile tours with nowadays. Anyway, they lost the court case and from what I can tell Luci is still p*ssed off!
