OK, I LOVE those 80's synthpop tracks, so sue me, but I know I ain't the only one here.

.

This one is actually an anti-romance song, but I think it's mighty catchy. It's brought to you by the band who also did 'Too Shy', Kajagoogoo, but renamed Kaja and without singer Limahl (bassist Nick Beggs is doing the vocals here).

.

It's one of my favourite 80s synthpop songs!

Brilliant! biggrin Kajagoogoo is classic synthpop! I have only the first 2 albums and the live one, I wasn't familiar with that cut, thx! I'll check out that Kaja album!

Another Kajagoogoo lover here on the Org?? What are the odds!

.

What are your favourite songs off White Feathers? Mine are the title track and 'Frayo'. Their Hammersmith Odeon concert was sublime.

Well Too Shy is one of the best synthpop tracks EVER. I kinda love the whole album. From memory, without listening to it again, the intrumental called Kajagoogoo comes to mind. I dig Neverending Story from Limalh, too, one of my favorite songs as an early teen biggrin

OK, I'm gonna go REAL hardcore on that one lol , it's by Ryuichi Sakamoto from the 1986 film Koneko Monogatari. One critic once described it as "the perfect pop song" and I kinda agree, it just embodies everything a pop song oughta be! May be shocking for anyone unfamiliar to Japanese pop but if u're into it that's the one biggrin

Post the vid!!!!

.

.

This song is GORGEOUS. Well, ABC's on top on my list, almost everything they did is mindblowing! biggrin

.

My favorite by them (HYPER-romantic and reminds me of an ex GF, I used to trip on that song while with her):

.

.

And since we spoke of Kajagoogoo, I think it's faire enough to feature their most classic track, the hypnotizing Too Shy (the vid unfortunately doesn't honor the song IMHO: the song is deeply rooted in the urban atmosphere of the 80's so that 40's-like vid is kinda odd if u ask me).

.

.

And here's another one that sounds a lot like Too Shy and is one of my fave obscure songs ever. Prince fans may b familiar with it as they credited Prince on guitar on the single's back cover, which was some kind of odd joke since not only P had nothing to do with it but there's... no guitar on the song at all falloff

Ha ha, Yazoo yeah biggrin Glad u like my thingz! Here's a few more.

.

This one's from The Human League universally hated 1990 album Romantic? It's actually a marvelous gem of sheer silliness, really, as the lead single shows:

As for this one it's a more obscure single from 1985 by RAH Band, it was a mini hit in some countries. Has to be one of the most beautiful pop songs ever written if u ask me, I'm totally hypnotized by it every time I listen 2 it, the bridge and chorus in particular lift me uuuuuuup biggrin

I wasn't familiar with those 2 acts/songs (well I was familiar with OMD by name but never really paid attention 2 their work). While they wouldn't be among my favorites they're both cute, no question smile

The Human League: absolute classic material biggrin

Cutting Crew: knew the song never knew who sang it, cute but too serious maybe wink

Cynthia + Johnny O: on that one we definitely fell into dance music from the 90's, romantism was gone sad

Taylor Dayne: love it! + she's hot biggrin

Sabrina: I think her boobs sold more records than her voice lol Cute silly classic, though not too romantic either cool

I still play this from time to time, I remember it was in top 10 when 1999/Little Red Corvette was in January 1985.

I love this song, one of my favourites '80 tunes in fact, but I was never able to get into the rest of the album.

They show up fine for me, and I'm using Firefox on Windows 8.1. Is Youtube itself working for you? Have you tried using another browser to see if the embedded vids show up there?
