artists that have gone bankrupt

i heard Cat Power had albums on ther charts and still was bankrupt. anyone else?

Well though i dont think they "filed" for it, QUEEN were dead broke going into "Night At the Opera" ironically now the richest band on earth pretty much. Also Billy Joel got ripped off twice by 2 different managers, the second one was really a big deal, when Billy Joel was touring for "River of Dreams" album, that was to get out of debt. He now is

If I'm not mistaken,I think Isaac Hayes went bankrupt in the mid-70s.By that time,the hits had dried up for him.
