Well, Bassett gave an interview about the highly anticipated movie toEntertainment Weekly and addressed why she never even thought twice about having Bobbi play the lead role.

"I did not think about casting her. And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she's not an actress. I know she's acted here and there. I know she's been on their family's reality show, but she's not an actress and acting is a craft," she explained.

Angela is right,but....technically,Whitney Houston wasn't an "actress",either and yet Angela had no problems being in a movie with her (Waiting To Exhale)

Hell to the naw! Whitney was great in The Bodyguard. Waiting To Exhale was her big return to the silver screen. I loved both of them, especially that soundtrack for Waiting To Exhale (drooling over my favorite TLC track EVER "kiss my... MWAH")

Let's not get nasty lol I wouldn't have cast Bobbi Kristina in that role, either.I just don't think she could pull it off.I think Brandy should have been considered.

Great choice because she looks just like her. Poor thing. Her look already gives me that feeling of disgust like the real thing did so I think she's going to do a good job playing the role. She's gonna have to get a lot of practice wearing a cheerleader outfit and picking petals off a flower while thinking about the "dreamy" football captain and wondering "if he loves me....if he loves me not". Can't wait to see this movie. evillol

I don't think the estate could block a bio film from being made if they wanted to... It doesn't have to be authorized.

How about a Whitney movie made by Vainandy?

If I made it, it would be sort of like this....

Yeah, I'm not feeling that rican Bobby. Isn't there a real life Bobby Jr of age that could play him now? I saw him looking identical ten years ago on Being Bobby Brown.

The Chick playing Whitney has great bone structure and she does favor Whitney but I also see Lauryn Hill & Jody Watly....The more pics I see of this flick the more I hate that it's gonna be on The Lifetime Network, the Network that celebrates Women Murdering Men.....I hope someone does right by Whitney and tell her story on the Silver screen...They can even do it as a Musical...

Okay, I can understand if you want to disagree with someone's statement, but Bobbi Kristina's response to Angela Bassett's intelligent opinion is just beyond disrespectful and ignorant:

Ignorant and disrespectful. She is definately her mother and father's daughter! lol
