Anyone listened to the new Paolo Nutini album? Picked it up the other day and I am really taken away with it, it's up there with Beck's 'Morning Phase' as my favourite album of the year so far. 'One Day', 'Numpty' and 'Fashion' are especially great. Paolo is really picking up steam, his debut was so-so, Coming Up Easy was much better, and his latest effort is much better than that! Can't wait to see what more comes from him.

I fell in love with Paolo during the Sunny Side Up record and still consider myself a diehard. I'm flying out to NYC in a few weeks just to see him perform again. I think the new album is great. One Day floors me. Iron Sky as well.

Gotta check this out, thanks for reminding me. Saw him on Later w/ Jools & was blown away, especially by the ballad "Sara" ? I think it was called. Been a fan of him since his debut.

I think you're talking about 'Diana'. Great song, a couple of reviews I read compared his vocals to Prince on that song, which I really don't hear but y'know

I loved "Last Request" because of the sadness in the lyrics and I like his voice, but wasn't that impresed with the other songs I heard from that album. As a huge Beck fan I guess I should check him out again.....
