Could / Would You Rip Off A Fellow Fan?

My sis and I are a bit gutted to have missed out on Coldplay tickets at the Albert Hall this week. Stumbled across this on Ebay today though:

A supposed fan is selling a pair of Coldplay tickets for tomorrow night (face value £189, as she stupidly put on the listing) for £1,300!! I remember when Prince was at the O2 and tickets for the last night and aftershow were like hot cakes. They were changing hands for silly money, but I recall a good number of Prince fans on here hooking up fellow fans with last night tickets for face value. I myself sold a spare last night aftershow and main ticket to a Prince fan for face value...the feeling of making their day was almost as good as the show itself.

Could you sell spare tickets like this for a such a mark up? Should people be able to do this? Consequently, I've emailed the seller and asked if she would sell the tickets to a fellow fan for face value...I'm intrigued to see what the reply will be...!
