Hell no! These shows are for D listed celebrities who are desperate for a paycheque.

This won't go well. A few years back, Alexander O' Neal was on the UK version of this show. He came out of it looking like a complete prick. These shows thrive on conflict and they'll attempt to portray Jermaine as a complete nutcase, most likely.

Well I watched the show last night and all I can say is Jermaine, Jermaine, Jermaine.... This was a BAD idea for him. If anyone ever suspected Jermaine as being a spoiled, materialistic, egotistical, arrogant and delusional diva, he basically confirmed those suspicions on last night's show. And no you cannot put all the blame on the producers or editing, how Jermaine portrayed himself on last night's show was his doing. The thing that stood out the most to me was all the clothes this guy has. He has spent a fortune on his clothes--he just doesnt have closets full of clothes, he has rooms full of his clothes. Halima mentioned that everytime they travel anywhere they have to purchase extra luggage to pack away Jermaine's clothes that he bought on the trip. Now a celebrity having tons of clothes isnt necessarily bad in an of itself. But when this celebrity has been repeately pursued by their ex to get them to pay child support for their own children which he has refused to provide, it is particulary despicable.

Jermaine has lied to the court judge saying he couldnt make child support payments because he's broke, but thinks nothing of spending thousands of dollars on his clothing. Daniel Baldwin's partner called him a shopaholic and a Hollywood hoarder.

Other stand out moments from the show:

*Jermaine and Halima dont cook, they eat out every night

*They have a staff to clean their house, yet there's a bunch of dog poop laying around in their yard which Jermaine steps in at one point

*Halima and Jermaine have no children together (I thought they did?)

*Halima acts like Jermaine's personal assistant, she is in charge of managing his schedule, itinerary, travel arrangements, etc.

*Jermaine is a germophobe and a laundryaholic. Loves doing laundry, even if there isnt any to be done, he will find something to throw in the wash.

*Jermaine doesnt believe in wearing the same outfit again, once he's worn something, that's it. He wont wear it again

*When he goes to a gas station he has Halima pump the gas for him but she has to use paper towels to touch the pump, cuz Jerms dont want her touching the germs on the pump

*Jermaine has moobs! (man-boobs)


*When Isabella (Daniel Baldwin's partner) had a storage company come to move Jermaine's clothes, Jermaine refused to let them on the property, locked himself in his room and refused to come out to finish filming the show

*He cut off all contact with the producers of the show and refused to provide an update of what happened after the show

Jermaine Jackson gets testy in ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’ premiere

‘Celebrity Wife Swap,” the voyeuristic ABC reality show that offers a peek at the home lives of semi-famous celebs, is back for a new season of controversy and culture shock.

In Tuesday’s Season Three premiere — airing at 10 p.m. — the partners of actor Daniel Baldwin and music legend Jermaine Jackson (of the Jackson 5) swap homes (but not bedrooms) for one week.

A look inside the Jackson home reveals lots of baggage — literally — due to the dozens of suitcases used to transport the many racks of clothes the fashion-minded Jackson has accumulated over the years.

Baldwin — who did the swap with his former girlfriend Isabella Hofmann (his “Homicide: Life on the Street” co-star), the mother of his 17-year-old son — is outed as a great cook but a slob around the house.

Producers look for families with different values — like the 8,000-square-foot, staffed house that Jackson shares with his wife of seven years, Halima, versus Hofmann’s modest Hollywood Hills home, where she does all of the cooking and cleaning herself.

“I was prepared for something that was going to be more argumentative — I was ready for Roseanne to come. And I was hoping that it would be that so it would be more interesting,” says Baldwin, who did the show as a way for his autistic son, Atticus, to get more comfortable with change. “But it was pretty smooth sailing.”

The same can’t be said for Jackson, who refused to cooperate with one of Hofmann’s household rules and briefly shut down production — and cut off contact with producers after filming wrapped.

Upcoming episodes will see swaps between TV personality Robin Leach (“Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”) and actor Eric Roberts; actresses Tichina Arnold and Kelly Packard; former pro boxer Laila Ali and singer/songwriter Angie Stone; model/actress Angie Everheart and Food Network stars Pat and Gina Neely; and race car driver Hélio Castroneves and Anna Nicole Smith’s former partner, Larry Birkhead.

Baldwin says he didn’t change any of his behavior as a result of the show, but some swaps have a more lasting impact after the cameras stop rolling. Birkhead, who is raising daughter Dannielynn by himself, learned some organizational tips from Castroneves’ strict wife, while she in turn learned to loosen up.

“The show really puts a mirror up to people in a way I think surprises them,” says executive producer Bruce Toms.

“Most people come out of it grateful for the opportunity to look at some things in their lives that they haven’t been looking at, or just to confirm that our values are what work for us and I’m not going to change them.”

Nobody's gonna touch my clothes! Jermaine Jackson got more than he bargained for on the season premiere of ABC's Celebrity Wife Swap, which aired Tuesday night.

During the hour-long episode, Jackson's wife, Halima, swapped with Daniel Baldwin's former girlfriend, Isabella Hofmann. While Baldwin was willing to make changes with Halima, learning what it was like to be in Isabella's shoes, Jermaine Jackson was resistant to change to the point where he locked himself in a room and refused to tape any further with show producers.

Jackson had done well until Isabella asked him to get rid of some of his clothes housed not only in closets in his home, but in bedrooms and hallways. He was also accused of being a "Hollywood Hoarder," which he denied.

"No way. A hoarder is holding on to junk. I was furious. I was boiling inside because no one has ever said that to me," Jackson told ABC.

On tonight’s episode of Celebrity Wife Swap, Michael’s brother Jermaine Jackson will be appearing with his wife Halima Rashid. Halima and Jermaine have been married for nine years and live together in a gated community. Halima has her work cut out for her caring for Jermaine because he is a shopaholic and a germ phobic.

Actors Daniel Baldwin and Isabella Hoffman are the other celebrity couple appearing on Celebrity Wife Swap tonight. Daniel and Isabelle have one son, 17 year old Atticus, who has been diagnosed with Autism.

It’s time for the wife swap. Halima and Isabella pack their bags and say good-bye to their families. They arrive at their new homes and have a few minutes to snoop around the houses. Halima thinks Isabella’s house is ridiculously small, and Isabella is disgusted by the dog poop in the back yard. Halima finds pictures of Daniel on the piano and is excited because she thinks is family is “acting royalty.” The wives sit down and read the manuals that they left for each other and then they meet their new families. Halima thinks Atticus is sweet and she is going to have a good time with him. Isabella sits down and meets Jermaine and thinks he is “kind of weird.”

Per the manual Halima left for Isabella, she has to chauffeur Jermaine to a restaurant for dinner. En route she learns that Jermaine has a pet peeve. She stops to get gas and Jermaine won’t let her pump gas without touching the pump, he makes her wrap the pump in paper-towels.

At Daniel’s house he cooks breaded, fried fish and makes a mess of the kitchen. Halima enjoys eating something fried for a change, in comparison to her healthy eating with Jermaine. When she is done eating she is shocked to learn that it is her responsibility to clean the kitchen. Halima and Jermaine have house keepers and she has not cleaned in over 9 years. The next day Halima wakes up and gets Atticus dressed and takes him to school.

At Jermaine’s house Isabella wakes up to Jermaine vacuuming his entire house, which is strange since he has hired help. Jermaine informs her that it is her responsibility to call someone and have them clean up their dog’s poop outside and while he “takes the Ferarri for a spin” it is Isabella’s job to set up his schedule and itinerary for the day.

It is time for the wives to implement their own rules. Isabella informs Jermaine that it is his responsibility to make his own schedule for the day and then informs him that he is a “Hollywood Hoarder.” He has a room for his luggage, a room for his shoes, and two rooms full of clothes.

Halima informs Daniel that he needs to start doing his share of the work around the house. She doesn’t think he appreciates everything Isabella does to keep their household copasetic. She also takes Daniel to get a hair-cut and makes him dress nicer, and forces him and Atticus to do Yoga with her in the morning.

At Jermaine’s house Isabella has a storage company bring a truck over to pack up some of Jermaine’s rooms full of clothes. Jermaine refuses to let this in the gate, and locks himself in his room and refuses to film anymore for Celebrity Wife Swap.

It’s time for the round-table, Jermaine, Isabella, Halima, and Daniel meet together to discuss their experiences. Daniel praises how wonderful Halima is and how lucky Jermaine is to have her. Then, Isabelle mentions the hoarding issue at Jermaine and Halima’s house. Halima is thrown off, she has seen several houses with rooms just for their clothes and she doesn’t understand what the issue is. Daniel mentions that he thinks Halima actually enjoyed wearing jeans and tees and she admits that Jermaine doesn’t like it when she dresses down and he wants her to look like she stepped out of a magazine every day. Jermaine admits that he did like one of Isabella’s rules and that was cooking his own food-he has cooked once in the past nine years.

Jermaine Jackson says that he will never do Celebrity Wife Swap again …”not in a billion years.” Overall the Jackson family did have some impact on Isabelle and Daniel, now they go out to dinner once and awhile so that they can relax and don’t have to worry about cooking or cleaning up.
