Musical Youth - Pass The Dutchie

One of the really few reggae hits that took the world by storm one day and it wasn't by Bob Marley. I wish people could start get into other reggae artists than Bob.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Sorry for the late reply!

You can tell that Bob's children are talented in the making, especially Damian, his "Welcome to Jamrock" album is a very rare occasion where you hear a well coherent hybrid of genres (soul, hip hop, R&B ..)

These songs are very famous reggae hits..

Thing is they all sound the same... lol It's good music, though.

Musical Youth are from my city! I was actually in a documentary with Dennis Seaton all about music from Birmingham.
