Phil Collins- Thru These Walls

More proof... Phil had some great material. And, he had some really dark, atmospheric pop. For his first 2 albums at least.

^ You should hear his Both Sides album, he broke away from the commercial pop sound he was famous for in the mid-to-late eighties. Probably not as dark as the first two but just as progressive.

Anyway, another great song from Phil.

I think is early 80's and late 80's period was best imo. I'll check out Both Sides smile haven't listened yet.

I am a Peter Gabriel junkie... and have been obsessed with his albums. While ole phil doesn't come close too him. I'm glad i'm getting into his first 2 solo albums. He did some really great shit on those! same with the Genesis album of 1983. Ahh fuck it i like Invisible Touch album too smile Tonight, Tonight, Tonight, Land of Confusion & In Too Deep are the shit.

I think his ...But Seriously album is underrated too. It's not incredibly poppy. It has more of ''social'' lyrics and I Wish It Would Rain Down is a killer rock/gospel.
