Aretha change in the production of new album

Aretha Franklin's next album that is being executive produced by Clive Davis is not gonna have Don Was as music producer any longer. Was is tied up with the Martina McBride album.

Sources are reporting that OutKast's Andre300 may now enter the production arena on this project.

Babyface is already on board for some production on the album.

Franklin recently appeared at The White House for President and Mrs. Obama for the IN PEFORMANCE seriies WOMEN OF SOUL. It is slated to air in April on PBS. When it happened last Thursday, it aired live on the White House website. Also appearing were: Patti LaBelle, Jill Scott, Janelle Monae, Melissa Etheridge, Ariana Grande and the singer that won THE VOICE. Franklin did a stomp down version of "I Never Loved A Man", and took the White House to church with a show closing "Amazing Grace".

Unfortunately President Obama in saluting Franklin mispelled RESPECT, instead = R-S-P-E-C-T. The media has been all over his flub up.
