I think that, for the most part, greatest hits tours can be lazy but I like the concept that he came up: All The Hits,All Night Long...that actually sounds cool to me lol

At this point that is really what he has to do, im sure he will toss in a new song here and there, but it is tough for someone like Lionel who was a mega star and icon for the 80's, plus TO me Lionel is not some amazing album artist where he can say, Im gonna lay the "Lionel Richie" album start to finish, i don't think his following is that loyal, meaning they are fans of the hits, the album cuts are really unknown to them.

Don't most veteran acts mainly perform their hits and popular songs? That's what the general audience is paying to see. I don't think many people are going to see Lionel perform Captain Quickdraw or one of his newer songs. lol

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I see he's swinging through my area in July. I am so ready to not attend this

show but good luck Lionel. My bet is that most of his audience will be soccer

moms and dads. lol

I'm thinking that it has been two years since Tuskegee so these are probably warm up dates for whatever he has next to release. don't overthink it people.
