This is one worth noting I suppose. 10,000 Maniacs recorded a cover of The Horse Flies tune "Sally Ann" as a b-side to their hit "Candy Everybody Wants". After exiting the group, Natalie Merchant recorded her own take on "Sally Ann" for her album "The House Carpenter's Daughter".

Wow, good call on both... I have played both of these with friends recently discussing how decent of covers they were. Kind of strange.
