Adel Tawil, one of germanies most popular pop singers gives props tu his musical idols in his new song "Lieder". Purple Rain and When Doves Cry are mentioned several times and the cover art appears on his t-shirt in the promo video.

Nein. Ich glaube das verwechselst Du mit dem Jimi-Hendrix-Cover ganz am Anfang. Da war er ja auch schon weiter im Text. Später im Song sieht man auf seinem T-Shirt während der "Tauben geweint..."-Textzeile korrekterweise immer das Cover der "When doves cry"-Single.

Also ich finde den Song ganz okay

Thank you for the hook up, Serious! Of course, it's so much easier to communicate in your native language when you know your counterpart is German as well. But I understand. If everybody in here would do that we would get lost in translation.

Yes, a few of Jan's trax go into that direction. But only a few, unfortunately. Though he is a good DJ. Check out his soundlcoud page and you will find a little surprise! As for Adel & Annette, I dont really care if they put their heads together again or not. Maybe a "FunKey" co-producer at their side would help. Someone like Michael Fakesch from Munich or Berlin resident Snax.

We are not that many here but we exist .
Yeah we have the Hot Pants Road Club I have seen them numerous times over the years, last time was on NYE . BTW their lead singer Andi Gabauer was the singer for a ballet to Prince music many years ago.
