Time really does wait for no one...

I rate Doggystyle in the top 5 greatest hip hop albums of all time. Sadly however, Snoop' s lyrical talents declined immediately thereafter. He hasn't come close to recapturing his flow of the early days of Deathrow. I still like Snoop and Doggystyle will remain in my playlist forever, but as a hip hop artist he is way past his prime.

CORRECTION: The writer has at least one piece of information incorrect. Warren G is actually the half-brother of Dr. Dre, NOT the step-brother of Snoop Dogg.

Its up there for me as well. Most definitely in my total top 10 and its probably my number one west coast hip hop/rap album of all time. It ill be a close one between Doggystyle and 2pac's All Eyes On Me. Hella close.

20 years, wow! Still sounds good today too.
