This seems to be an interesting set.The first disc was included in the EW&F multi-disc album box set that was released a few years ago.The second disc compiles a bunch of bonus tracks that previously appeared on the remasters of the 70s albums. | |

U.K.’s Edsel label is revisiting Dionne Warwick albums on four new, multi-CD sets. Each one of Edsel’s sets will contain four original stereo albums in chronological sequence, with two of the new titles adding singles and retaining bonus tracks originally introduced on Rhino Handmade’s expanded reissues. The titles, due in stores on January 13, are as follows:

Sony Music’s Legacy Recordings will issue a deluxe “30th Anniversary Celebration” edition of Cyndi Lauper‘s 1983 album She’s So Unusual at the end of March.
A two-CD deluxe will be the only format that includes an extra disc featuring nine bonus tracks, including unreleased demos and rehearsals, as well as the Arthur Baker Remix of She Bop. Some period cuts are noticeable by their absence, including (incredibly) the twelve-inch version of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. The deluxe also includes a “reusable sticker set”, including vinyl cut outs of Lauper’s outfits and accessories that can be arranged in different combinations on a 3D fold-out backdrop of the bedroom featured in the Girls Just Want To Have Fun video. This special packaging explains a higher-than-expected price-tag for a 2CD deluxe edition. Three 2013 remixes are appended to the album on CD 1 , and these are also available on the standard one disc remaster. If you purchase the vinyl version it comes with a download code for the remixes (it’s not clear if this includes the album as well). Elton John‘s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road will be receiving the Super Deluxe Edition box set treatment this spring. The 1973 classic was originally expected to be issued in Autumn 2013 (the 40th anniversary year) but was pushed back to avoid clashing with John’s new album The Diving Board.
