Can't deny this one rom Duran! they may had some cheesy songs. But damn this song is the shit cool

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

If by "cheesy" you mean "awesome," then yes.

"Save a Prayer" is an excellent song from an excellent album by an excellent band.

What the hell do you mean "cheesy songs"????

Duran Duran definited the blend of synth and rock music in the 80's. I didn't like their overproduced album past SATRT, but the very first DD album is the shit.

Simon wrote poetry before he went into DD. They used his writings to form their songs. I'm the first one to say "what in the hell does smell like a sound mean?" but at least their music was made for kids to dance to and have fun.

The disgusting Red Carpet Massacre album was a turn in the wrong direction. They need to get rid of Dom, get Andy back, and make more music like the Astronaut album. And for God's sake, tell Nick to back the hell off the synth already, no wonder Andy got sick of it. Their music is only great when it's the right mix of both styles.

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.... WHAT???

FWIW, I love both SATRT and Red Carpet Massacre. As much as I adored the idea of having all of the originals back, Astronaut is my least favorite of the last three.
