Any Love for Panic! At The Disco?

I got into this band on their last album Vices and Virtues and really liked it. The new album has some great tunes on it. Vey 80s derivative and dancey. "Girl you love" is the bomb! One thing I keep seeing online is complaints from fans about how much they've changed their sound. I guess they were more Emo before and then took the electronica/ synth pop route, which I personally love but I have nothing to compare them to, as I became a fan in the latter half of the career. One observation about Brendon's vocally stylings, is how similar he sounds to Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. What gives??
