I love him too dancerella, he knows he and his music are all that. He hasn't been the same since his mom's death though and we can't blame her, he's traumatized like anyone of us would be. However these latest posts on Twitter sound a little bit worriesome and borderline manic, I hope he's alright.

Something is for sure up with Kanye. He was quiet during the MBDTF era MINUS the Today Show outburst.

I think this mother fucker is serously butt hurt they don't want to sell his clothes. No, really listen to all he says about fashion! dude seriously wants to be in the fashion world.... and he is taking it to heart.

He's made some... questionable choices in the last few years. I had a few people who said they saw Kanye on The College Dropout tour and that he was very humble at the moment.

Fame, fashion, pussy, and death has really gotten to him. And it's like he's really trying to be the next ''tragic rockstar'' He's walking around like he's a famous rockstar that died from a drug overdose but is still alive lol

-

-

eek HILARIOUS!!!! lol Seriously though, I think Ye is laughing his butt off @ all the attention he gets after his rants. Whether or not he knows it, he has become or is becoming a caricature of himself with each supposed rant. I don't buy into the whole "tragic star shit" he's selling nowadays.

-

I think he's making himself news because his music isn't. And I like dude.

-

-

Oh and can Tupac Shakur rest in peace yet? Everybody trying to be controversial like Pac. I read somewhere (don't remember where) that Ye said he's the new Pac. Really Kanye? I know 50 said he "want them to love me like they loved Pac," but damn. This is some outlandish shit. lol

I agree that Kimmel is perfect mess with him but I disagree on him being talentless. Dude has talent (to me at least). His douchery is quite high though. I just don't believe him. He's getting off with "Pop Culture" paying attention and it only adds to his douche factor.

Kanye is that kid in class that does something silly and gets in trouble, then the teacher abruptly turns around and says to the class, "Don't encourage him!" Well, America only encouraged him with all the media coverage from the "George Bush doesn't like Black people" days to the "I'mma let you finish" with America's sweetheart, Taylor Swift.

The current rappers really misinterpret Pac's so called "controversy". 2pac wasnt TRYING to be controversial. 2pac wasnt trying to seek attention. 2pac had beliefs and real intellectual perspectives about the world, life, injustice etc. He did not always act on those belief in a rational way but it all came from a sincere place. That was who he was... Kanye is just a media whore who is so far up his own ass that it stinks. None of what he has to say is sincere and he comes across very insecure. I really hope he gets some help because his mothers passing really messed him up.

Kanye is by far the bitchiest Kardashian around.

He should stop hanging out with that b, and look for something new and original... He's brilliant musically? Who gives two fucks about it if he's such a dumb asshole, seeking attention just to be "controversial", and doing random statments "I'm the number one rock star in the world" or "Jay Z and Em are the best rappers..." who gave him the right to say so? See all that crap from Beyoncé to Jay Z to this Kardashian bug ass are just doing things together to implant sick ideas to fans.. The sad thing about it that it's not about music anymore.

I know y'all hate Eminem but at least the dude is far away from media scandals (Well, he's not dissing Mariah anymore) and works on his music in a respectful status.

Kanye has no filter and has said and done things that break social protocol but he has also been one of the most honest and forthcoming artists around. Kanye is no more full of himself than Justin Timberlake, Adam Levine or Robin Thicke or any other pop star for that matter. The difference is they tend to play the media game while Kanye doesn't as much. Its hard not to be a little full of yourself when everybody is always talking about you. A certain little purple guy used to be the same way at one point.

DEFINITLY agree with this. This is also very true. The media has their favorites "media darlings" that can pretty much get away with anything and then you have the celebrities that will get criticized for sneezing (just because the media doesnt like them). It is very hyprocritical. Justin, Jay Z, Beyonce etc have said as well as DONE some of the most arrogant things Ive ever seen and the media just praises it or they either get a pass eek eek

Unlike most of the pop stars out now, I believe Kanye has some psychological trauma from his mothers passing which is why he does these antics.

nod Am I the only one who listened to Yeezus and thought it sounded like the work of someone who's severely depressed? I mean, yeah, it wasn't like he up and said so on any of the songs, but the entire atmosphere the album built sounded like it. Or yeah, bipolar, given that he obviously has these "ups" where he has kind of delusions of grandeur. I hope the other posters here are right and he's just fucking with the media because he knows they'll eat it up.

First...

Kanye is extremely talented, intelligent, driven and successful, but he's also exceptionally humorless and the very definition of egotistical. For some people those two sides cancel each other out and leave a neutral dichotomy that is very hard to enjoy, regardless of how good his "art" may be.

Second...

People have short memories about this kind of stuff and seem to be forgetting that Kanye has done this before, repeatedly. Kanye can say whatever he wants about anyone, but NOBODY can say ANYTHING about Kanye. For me it's grade school level immaturity, and at this point it's become boring and uninteresting.

Wrong. YOU may not have known who Kanye West was before he was a media whore but some of us did. Contrary to your statement, he came up slowly. There was a lot of work he did as a producer beforehand. When he decided he would rap, he caught all kinds of criticism and hate. If you take away the money, media and public platform, you have the Kanye that everybody liked before he got all of that stuff. The one who was more introspective and truthful in his work. It seems to me that you are the one judging him according to his media exposure and not his woirk. Go back and listen to his first CD or better yet, his old mixtapes. There is a reason Kanye got to where he is. I think eventually, he may grow up a bit as a person but as an artist, he is continually growing and changing, which is much more than a lot of the current roster of so-called "artists" rolling out of the assembly line.

He is egotistical and full of himself - true, but he is not talentless.
