I wouldn't really be interested in seeing a movie about any of them, maybe Stevie Wonder. There's several John Lennon/Beatles movies already and The Jacksons An American Dream covers Mike. . I'd watch movies about Sun Ra, Moondog, The Andrews Sisters, Johnnie Taylor, Duran Duran, Herbie Hancock, Laura Nyro, Thomas Dorsey, Shirley Ceasar, The Mandrell Sisters, Hazel Scott, Kraftwerk, Oak Ridge Boys, Jose Feliciano, Celia Cruz, Dolly Parton, and Hee Haw the TV show. But I have no idea who should play any of them, because I don't know much about modern actors. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |

There is? If so, I don't see it being at the multiplex. It seems like something that would be on the PBS show Independent Lens or straight to video. I think a Tiny Tim movie would be interesting. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
