Pop Stars with their own Animated/Live Action Kids' series

I would like to re-visit a thread I did many moons ago, when I talked about Pop stars having their own cartoon or live action shows, I wanna do a remastered and updated version of this. Here we go!

In the 1960's we had, The Beatles

The Beatles Cartoon

and then, along came The Monkees

The Monkees

then in the 70s came, the Jackson 5

followed by their vanilla counterparts, The Osmonds

then came (former) Austrailian teen rock star, Rick Springfield

and then, the Tartan plaid rockers from Scotland, the Bay City Rollers

Whom actually had 2 shows as a matter of fact

Shang-A-Lang & The Bay City Rollers Show

And in the 80s, there was Kidd Video

and in the 90s, came Kid N Play

and the one and only, New Kids on the Block

and MC Hammer came with Hammerman

Then by 2004, Japanese stars Puffy AmiYumi came with their own show

and then, the Jonas Brothers came with their own (short-lived) TV series called, "Jonas"

jonas-brothers-660.jpg

and then came Big Time Rush and there's rumors going around that a cartoon series just might be in the works as well.

and finally (for now) there's The Wanted with their own reality show on E! entitled, "The Wanted Life"

You forgot about S Club 7 and their live action series on ABC Family (owned by Disney).

And lets not forgot about that god-awful live action made-for-TV movie that KISS did in the late 1970's!

I think you've named all the ones I could think of. I remember the Bay City Rollers show.

What about The Hudson Brothers, do they count?

It's kind of amazing there was never a KISS cartoon... although I haven't seen "my dad the rock star" which looks like it could be loosely based on Gene-o.

And of course there is DETHKLOK which now tours and releases albums. That's a real life Monkees situation! Started the band to make a show and then it turns out people really like the band so it keeps going when the show is done.
