novabrkr	Why would it be called "Burqa"? She repeats the word "aura" in the song itself. edit - okay, the last word seems to be actually "burqa" ("behind the burqa"), now that I listened to it again. [Edited 8/6/13 22:58pm]

It sounds like she's trying to channel David Bowie (emphasis on trying).

I get she's in some sort of techno-pop, but I really wasn't feeling this. Doesn't seem as original as her other stuff.

Musicslave	Aside from the goofy way she starts singing the verses, "Applause" is tailor made for radio. Haven't heard burqa yet.

I've heard this song a million times in the past 3 years. DancePop does nothing for me, and that reference to Bowie is just embarrassing.
