the new Mayer Hawthorne album is superb.I'll be picking up the deluxe edition on Tuesday!

Beyond that,I'm really excited about the new Robin Thicke CD,due at the end of this month.

Let me know if it's too soon to start a "favorite albums of 1984" thread. Have you heard the Purple Rain soundtrack yet? It's pretty good.

The knife - I love heartbeats and a few tracks on that first album, but not so into the minimimal droney stuff of the last couple. Bring the hooks back!

You'll be disappointed. lol The new album is full-on experimental with a 19-minute ambient track in the center. dead

Really liked the Mayer Hawthorne and Quadron albums. Liked the Bilal album okay.

I think the Stepkids, Van Hunt, Janelle Monae and others are dropping new albums soon.
