WTF happened to the two songs Prince did with Lisa Lisa (of Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam)? She said in a recent interview that Prince and her worked on two songs together. Lisa added that Prince was a perfectionist and extremely genuine. The songs along with the rest of her album were shelved. Does anyone know about these songs or have a copy/snippet or anything?

Wrong forum but very interesting thread, I didn't know about these songs.

I never knew that they worked together.I know she's a big fan,though.She was at the premiere of the Graffiti Bridge movie.

Loooove Lisa Lisa. She performed at Chicago Pride a couple years ago and was as good as ever. Either I never knew or I knew and forgot that Prince did some songs with her. What era was this? 93-94? I think a collab could've been great. You can definitely hear a Prince influence in the early Lisa Lisa records.

that's a good question.Anita released a new single (no Prince involvement) several months ago,but the album never materialized.

Yeah its was sometime in the 90's. I know it was after Lisa's first solo album 'LL77'.

Really hoping these songs surface soon. Thanks for ur help if you can find anything out about it.

yeah i heard about it and got excited when she mentioned it in that interview. really hope i can find even a snippet of these songs.

it wasn't with Full Force tho, at that time she was no longer working with them so maybe not. Lisa's latest album is called "Life 'n' Love" came out in 2009. Really good. U should check it out.
